What is a charter school?
Charter schools are independently operated public schools. There is no charge to parents because funding comes from state and local taxes. Charter schools must meet the same academic requirements as traditional public schools but are also directly accountable to parents.

What are the school hours?
School instructional hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00-3:00.

What is the focus of your curriculum?
We use the Imagine Schools Curriculum which is aligned with the Arizona State Standards.

Is your school free?
Yes, our school is a state-funded, independent public school that is free to all students. We do however, often have a waiting list.

Is there an attendance phone number the parent/guardian may call in the event of an absence?
Yes, the attendance phone number is 602-344-4620 and it is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Do you have a lunch program?
Yes, we offer both breakfast and lunch. We participates in the National School Lunch Program.

What are the office hours?
The school office is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Does this school offer special education services?
Yes, as a public school, we provide special education services aligned with the student’s IEP.

What is the maximum class size and are there computers available for the students use?
The maximum class size is 25 students. Each classroom contains at least 4 student computers.

Does the school call me when my student has an unexcused absence?
Yes, our office personnel will make daily calls whenever your student is absent and we have not received a call from the parent/guardian excusing that day’s absence.

Do you offer after school extra curricular activities?
Currently, there are extra curricular activities that are offered. However, they may vary from year to year, depending on the demand for the activity.

Are Imagine Schools teachers highly qualified?
Yes, our teachers are highly qualified and continuously educated in all areas to ensure the best possible education for your student. Additionally, all faculty members hold a valid fingerprint clearance card.

Does your school have a dress code?
All students are expected to adhere to the following standard of dress guide lines while on campus or while attending off campus school sponsored events. All final decisions regarding appropriateness of the uniform, headwear , shoes , hairstyle, or appearance in general, is left to the discretion of the principal.

Polo's shirts ( long or short sleeve )
colors: Hunter Green, Navy Blue, or Burgundy

GIRLS BOTTOMS
Skorts, skirts, or shorts ( no more that 3 inches above the knee )
Pants ( all pants with belt loops require a belt )
colors: Navy Blue or Khaki

BOYS TOPS
Polo Shirts ( log and shorts sleeve )
Colors: Hunter Green , Navy Blue, or Burgundy

BOYS BOTTOMS
Shorts ( length not to be below the knee )
Pants ( all pants with belt loops require a belt )
Colors: Navy Blue, Khaki

OPTIONAL
Sweatshirts ( solid colors with no writing or logos )
Camelback sweatshirts are sold in the front office

THE FOLLOWING WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
Hats or bandanas
Cell phones, hand held games or CD/MP3/Tape players
Shoes with heels over 1 inch or sandals without back support strap
Tattoos or facial piercing
Baggie pants or pants with hems dragging on the ground
Oversized shirts or shirts that are "long hanging"
Gum
Unnatural hair color or hair styles

CODIGO DE VESTIR
Se espera que todos los estudiantes sigan el codigo guia de vestido mientras se encuentre en el campo educativo o cuando participe en actividades patrocinadas por la escuela. Todas las decisiones finales acerca del uso apropiado del uniforme como ; adornos, corte de pelo, zapatos o apariencia general sera a discrecion del Director.
